The purpose of me writing this, I guess - blog, is because I want to share about my experience studying abroad. Or actually, that was my initial goal, but I wanted to share about other fun things as well. Therefore, I have decided to add fun facts about my solo trips abroad. I am only including places/countries I've visited by myself, because I consider it more of an adventure. I want to help others who were in the same shoes as I was (lost, uncertain, and nervous), by sharing my stories.
Some brief background information about me (that may or may not be useful for other UCEAP applicants): I am a Taiwanese American, holding dual passports. I know how to speak, listen, read, and type Chinese, but probably only up to elementary school level since I moved to California in third grade. (Random fact: we learn enough Chinese characters to understand most literature by third grade in Taiwan)
